Big Rock and The Candy Ass Mountain Boys, (BRATCAMB), is a funky, folky string band that rips through saucy sets that can include: dusty old jazz, folk and blues. BRATCAMB features Bo Masullo ("Big Rock" on lead vocals) Eric Fout- mandolin/vocals, Warren Owings-banjo,Rod Elkins- guitar/vocals, Dave Lavender-bass/vocals,Thomas Warner-sax, Jared Holley on drums and "Take It" Ted Harris, an Athens, Ohio, musician who rolls into town armed with clarinet, flute and tenor sax. Reminiscent of Katherine Whalen, lead singer of the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Masullo sings tender and troubled on such blues-swamped tunes as Bessie Smith's "Good Ole Wagon".BRATCAMB tangles up old time and blues bringing a laid-back living room feel to any stage.
